Scenario 1
A camera shutter winked. Their encounter wasn’t secret anymore. He grabbed her; his passion evident. She slipped into the shadow out of his grasp.
“I can’t…”
“You said you love me.”
“I don’t anymore.”
“What? Problems at home?”

Scenario 2
The passion of her embrace left him breathless. Their last secret encounter she’d said. A shutter clicked. He looked over his shoulder. Was that a camera? A shadow crossed his face. He’d almost escaped.
Or was he paranoid?

Hi Ghia. That’s what my intent was. If interest and suspense were indeed at work, I am gratified. I need lots of practice. Maybe one day it will get easier. Thanks for coming along with some input. I appreciate it. Hope I didn’t get too long winded on my last comment on your post. Tess

Thans so much! After the first one, I wondered how it might be if there was another scenario. I actually had three but was sure about it even though I liked it. It was great fun in the end. Tess

Both senarios are negitive in different ways; meaning they have the element of a sadness. But I can do sadness!!
Good.

Thanks T(?). If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. I had a third scenario too but wasn’t sure it would go over(it was quite different). I SO appreciate your kind input. No. 2 seems to be the one most chosen. Back to the drawing board for me. . . Tess

I love the intrigue of the second scenario.
The idea reminds me slightly of Antonioni’s “Blow-Up,” about a photographer who shoots a scene of something that wasn’t meant for his eyes to see:

Thank you. This is so interesting. I recall this movie vaguely about a hundred years ago. The picture prompt I used here sure has been a lot more interesing than what initially met my eye. It’s invigorating to see other sides of a story, which of course, can be endless. It opens up the mind and the mind’s eye blinks and blinks again. Ahh. Another idea . . . So nice that you came back again and attached the youtube video. Now I’m all charged and won’t want to call it a night! Thanks Dienna. I’m sure we’ll talk some more (and about lots of things). I enjoy talking with you. Tess

Thanks Vanessa. I like playing with various emotions and feelings (on paper, or course). Some are difficult but I love playing. Trouble is I’m trying to scale back commenting and reading blogs so I can concentrate on writing but so far haven’t been too successful. I’m having too much fun her. Nice hearing from you again. I’m sure we’ll have other things to discuss.

Hi Tess, this was really fun to get to read and choose. I have to vote for #2. It is packed, yet says so much with so few words. It brings to mind many questions–not in the “Huh? Did I miss something?” sense, but in an intriguing way–like I want to fit more pieces of the puzzle together.
