Is This the Stuff Some People Eat or the other one?

An unscheduled post . . . in the interest of saving dignity of all the little people—moi for one?

I found this in my spam after I sent the following post:

https://letscutthecrap.wordpress.com/2012/05/04/tick-tock-tick-tock/

I’m not touching it until I know it’s the real thing.

If Robin Coyle can be REclassified to spam (which she is NOT), I’m not sure what this can be. Techie is not me. Should I open it? Has anyone else seen anything like this?

It has been recommended I delete the clickable e-mail etc. below above name so that no-one clicks by accident.

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at.   WordPress Seo Plugin

Lost in WordPress black hole.

Author: Let's CUT the Crap!

I'm getting a little LONG in the tooth and have things to say about---ouch---AGEing. I believe it's certainly a state of mind but sometimes it's nice to hear that you're NORMAL. I enjoy reading by the truckload. I'm a grandma but I don't feel OLD although I'm not so young anymore. My plan is to stick it out as long as I can on this lovely planet and only will leave it kicking and screaming!

      • All sorts of weird things happening ever since the ‘comment’ trials (you saw that list they made on Wed?). My rule is: if I can’t understand it it’s garbage. Now this night mean that I’d miss out on lottery winnings if I was told about them in Hungarian. But then, if it was in Hungarian it would just as likely be a hoax anyway!

PS. No offence to Hungarians intended. Could just as easily specified any other country with a non-Latin bases language:).

  5. Spammers need ways to get you to click on their pages because they get paid per click. What better way than telling a writer that their spelling or grammar is bad. Delete it!

  6. In this regard, I would say leave it alone.
If it’s not like a comment, it probably is not a comment and should be treated as such.
Good rule of thumb – on comments as well as e mails – if you don’t recocnize the sender or commenter, delete…

    • BTW, I just found this comment in my spam. Have retrieved. You’re out of jail. Will this nonesense ever stop?

Viagara, eh? Hm. Spammers must be getting desperate selling to women to give to their men (insert giggle).

  12. I’ll have to clean out my spam again and see if I have one like this. That usually happens, spammers do things in bunches. I’d get rid of it. Lots of times my spam is too funny! But it got weird a month ago when someone quoted one of my posts right in his spam message. I dumped it, and then when visiting a blogger friend, he mentioned the spammer’s name (same one) and how the guy quoted him. Spammers are getting very creative.

    • Thanks. It’s GONE and you’re right, spammers are getting creative, that’s the reason for this particular post. I didn’t trust my own judgement. Thanks for taking the time to drop in.

  13. Yup, I recognize that spam-scam! They’re counting on catching the attention of (and causing worry for!) any blogger who’s uncertain enough about the tech-stuff to think it might be a legit warning… (For the record, what they said was all garbage. Well, it’s all true stuff, but it doesn’t actually apply to YOU or what you do here on this blog.) If you were an Internet marketer, it would be a different story–but since you’re YOU, I’m applauding your wisdom with the delete button! 😉

  14. I’d even delete the links from your post above. I don’t want one of your readers clicking on them by accident.

I can just smell the spam on it. Spammers’ tactics are so obvious and so lame.
