New Year, New Chapters, New Novel in 365 Days: Novel Writing Challenge 2017

Isn’t this a brilliant idea? I love it though not sure if I’ll work alongside. Thank you, Candice and Happy New Year.

Author: Let's CUT the Crap!

I'm getting a little LONG in the tooth and have things to say about---ouch---AGEing. I believe it's certainly a state of mind but sometimes it's nice to hear that you're NORMAL. I enjoy reading by the truckload. I'm a grandma but I don't feel OLD although I'm not so young anymore. My plan is to stick it out as long as I can on this lovely planet and only will leave it kicking and screaming!

  1. I am not even going to try. Bet you could do it, though. It could be a novel of short chapters.

  2. Ha ha. Sounds easy but I’ve piled too much on my plate already for this year. I might try it for as long as I last. 🙂

  3. Who says you have to do an entry each day? The simplicity of breaking it up into 365 chunks also makes 365 tasks which is daunting…you can do it, Ms. Tess – trust that for each day you don’t make an entry, you’ll make up for it in other days, ways and formats. I say, go for it, in your own way!

  6. It’s hard for me to write with deadlines. But for anyone who can do it, all the power. 🙂

  7. I’d love to travel this challenge with someone. I’ll be on the sidelines, cheering them on! Have a wonderful new year, Tess. It’s been my pleasure to get to know you and your travel-intensive life. I’m looking forward to more in 2017%

    • Happy New Year to you too, Jacqui. I’m pleased we’ve crossed paths as well.
Travel-intensive. Don’t I wish–until I got tired of it, that is. Finally going on a trip in May. Patience be my friend. 😀 😀

  8. Wow. It’s like NaNoWriMo for a whole year, although yes, I guess it spreads the word count. Great idea!

  9. Sounds like a great idea for those wanting to write a book that’s for certain. I look forward to hearing if you take it on Tess. Happy New Year!

  10. Fabulous idea and share. Great challenge for those needing a challenge to write a book, I only need more hours in a day to do everything and write the book I’ve started, lol. 🙂 xo

  11. It’s doable, although it takes discipline. I tell my writing students at the end of each session: WRITE DAILY. Even if it’s just 100 words, do it. Now…. I just have to follow my own advice. 🙂
