Check your candy before eating
Author: Let's CUT the Crap!
I'm getting a little LONG in the tooth and have things to say about---ouch---AGEing. I believe it's certainly a state of mind but sometimes it's nice to hear that you're NORMAL. I enjoy reading by the truckload. I'm a grandma but I don't feel OLD although I'm not so young anymore. My plan is to stick it out as long as I can on this lovely planet and only will leave it kicking and screaming!

Good advice. Tess. I see the results of not doing so.

Oohhh I better tread lightly over there 😉 What if I say “please” before I ask for more candy, hehe ❤ Happy Halloween!

Even the candy you hand out? But what if I trust you?

How well do you know the homeowner? Me or someone else? So many bad people wearing upstanding citizen gear and appearing as good folks..

I didn’t get one Trick or Treater last night and now have a full bag of horrible sweets all to myself!

We didn’t either. The aging neighborhood I guess.

I think everyone goes to house parties and organised events!

I love the decorations! I walk my dog around the neighborhood daily and get in the Halloween mood seeing the effort people put into decorating their homes. When you don’t have kids at home, it seems to fall away.

We didn’t have any trick-or-treaters. The one great thing about that is that the bowl of candy in my house was bought by me, so I know I can trust it!

We have 4 Chinese children living here and this was their first Halloween. They went to the Halloween event at the local shopping and entertainment village to trick or treat. It’s fun to see the first timers trick or treating. I think their parents had fun too.
