“Before you leave, I must return these.”
“What is this, Madame?”
“Love letters to your Maman.”
“Who wrote them?”
“They are from your Papa.”
“I know nothing of him.”
“You will know soon.”
“Who was it? Tell me.”
Madame grit her teeth. “He is Lord of this Manor.”
“Your husband?”

The word limit for Return is 50 words. I used all 50.

I’m telling you, you’re in the zone. Happens in writing. Happens in art. I’d love to see you write more, more, more… you’ve got talent coming through.

Paulette, you are such a sweet person. I write what I can. Sometimes, it ‘s an uphill battle to end at the finish line and the result is pleasing–other times–less. Thank you for your kind support. Your positive input is warming and gives me hope 😀

What you wrote about the uphill…and other times less… Don’t know an author who doesn’t experience this. Any writer, who’s honest, with maybe a very rare exception, experiences this. I think there’s a great story/novel in you, Tess, and if that were to ever come to pass, I’d be in line to read it. Have a great day. 🙂

I love it. I’m tempted to try my hand at this flash creating, but it’s hard for me to say anything in 50 words!

Try it on your OWN with no eyes watching and see what happens. You will surprise yourself. I cannot write poetry, but you do… think about it. Where is the difficulty? 😀

Page one, Tess, beautifully done. There’s a novel packed into that little gem. Have you ever thought of taking one of these story seeds and just keeping on going?

Yes Tess, this is one that could really go much further – although it stands beautifully as a flash.

This is a nice one Tess but you have omitted to use the word ‘Return’ within the script, it’s okay though as I have done this exact same thing. Have a lovely Thursday my sweet friend and please don’t take this comment as being rude, as this is definitely not my intention.

I was the one that spotted it on mine too, sometimes it makes me wonder how many of my reader base actually read whatever I am adding, and I have been considering taking off the ‘Like’ option for that very reason.
I hope that you don’t find that notion insulting, as I know many of my friends do read my scripts, but many that call in don’t and that is a fact.
Have a very nice rest of evening Tess 🙂
